Christmas Eve

Just a short missive to let you know we (Jason, Rebecca, and your mom / grandma are on our way to the candlelight service at Signal Hill.
I fixed a salad, chops, green beans, and corn bread for dinner. Simple fare but nutritious.

BIG TRIP YEPEE! said...

We arrived home from Church services at 7:30. It was a pleasant service with lots of traditional carols and candlelight. The children were able to talk Jim and I into opening a few gifts that have been under the tree tempting them all day. We agreed. Each child was able to choose 4 gifts each. They eagerly tore open the packages and happily exclaimed their joy. We will be taping on Christmas morning and will also set up the computer's camera so you can check in on us.
By the way...Colleen said we should both be able to have vocals on our cameras. We need to check our settings.
I made a homemade potato soup for our Christmas Eve meal. It was yummy and satisfying. Tomorrow we will be feasting on ham, twice baked sweet potatoes, green beans and pumpkin pie.
We love you and miss you all very much. Have a snuggley, warm , evening. We'll talk with you all tomorrow.
Love, Jim and Traci
